My name is Lady Maureen , I am turning 30 this august 30, I was born on 1990 I am living happily together with my husband Peter Ani and he is from Nigeria and we have a lovely daughter  named Adanna Miracle who is turning 1 on July 26,2020 , I am from Philippines, and I am a nurse, Studied Degree  Bachelor of science in Nursing at mahardika Institute of technology in Philippines from 2007-2011, we are Five in a Family, I am the Eldest, followed by my Brother Ran-ran who is in military in Philippines specifically airforce.he has two children named summer and clover, next is my sister Lalaine who is a house wife ,husband is a sailor(seaman) they have two children named Tracy and Ethan followed by my brother Mujib who is doing online business with her wife and has one daughter named Nicolle, last is my sister Stacy and she is single.my Dad passed away last January 2013.

I love children, I think they are the most beautiful beings in the world, they are able to encourage anyone with their innocence and enthusiasm, they always make you smile and make you feel an inner peace.

I enjoy working with children, taking care of them, therefore you can trustworthy, that I can be someone you can count on to be there when their family needs me cause I have a Daughter and nieces and nephews. I like to be always flexible with schedules, since one never knows what can happen, or unexpected events occur.

I speak English, and Tagalog and my native language and if by chance I want to learn to speak French.

My favourite food is beef steak filled with black pepper sauce and the pizza, watching horror films and visiting different places. In my free time I like to go for a walk, eat, or sing with my friends or at home with my family I like to travel meeting new people, talking and sharing experiences.

I have gained my experience with children mainly through taking care of my nieces and now my daughter and helping with her training.

I have also gained a lot of experiences on taking care of Elderly like my current patient now who is a post stroke patient, been taking care of  her since 2018 she is bedridden, I bathe her in her bed, she is on tracheostomy which needs suctioning from time to time because of her secretions and also On PEG which where  I administer her food and medicines through it and also need cleaning from time to time, she is on oxygen 24 hours with 3liters per hour. Daily activity for her is to clean her, bathe her, feed her, give medicines, basic physiotherapy and sometimes I bring her near the pool to catch some fresh air. I do turn her positions from supine to left and right lateral position every 3hours to avoid bed sores and for her blood circulations, sometimes we do bring her with her son to hospital for her hospital appointments. Aside from that I also handled patients with cases such as muscle dystrophy, cancer, alzheimer’s,parkinsons, diabetic, and etc.  that required medical and home care treatment.

I would also love to know the Canadian way of life, my desire to know more about your country and its culture. My family and my friends say that I am a very motherly, responsible and loving person; In addition, I love children, and taking care of elderly so this this year I decided to fulfill my next dream. I am looking forward to find a job in Canada that needs elder or child’s care.. my family support my decision and they are very happy for me as my common law husband and my daughter is also going with me to Canada .I would love to have my family with me.
Lastly, why I want to indulge myself in working as a caregiver is that I know I can do better on what I am doing now. I want to see myself staying in a country like Canada so settled in terms of life and work balance. Being with my family in a country like yours is what everyone dreamt of.

I’m delighted to have the opportunity to improve my English, learn to speak French  and I know I can achieve this goal there. I look forward to hear from you soon! Thank you!
